We hear from Maidstone, that
a young gentleman, apprentice to an eminent surgeon and apothecary in that town, was so greatly
affected on seeing the execution of the six malefactors on Saturday se'ennight, that he took a dose of arsenic, and notwithstanding all
possible means were used to expel the poison, he expired in great agonies on the Monday following.
