Shot by a soldier

At Corfu, aged 25, the Hon. Charles Gustavus Monckton, capt. 88th regt. second son of viscount and viscountess Galway. This young man, in the performance of his military duty was shot by a soldier who had been committing robbery, and had armed himself to destroy any individual who might recognise him.
