Mr John Wright

Mr. John Wright, of Worksop. Returning home, the preceding night, from visiting a friend in that neighbourhood, he was thrown from his horse. and one of his feet remaining entangled in the stirrup, he was dragged, at full speed, the distance of a mile before his release could be effected. He was conveyed, speechless, to the nearest house, where he expired at 5 o'clock this morning.
