Cross dresser

In Royal-row, Westminster-road, aged 54, the eccentric Bob Jemmett, a well-known clown. He was originally a cabinet-maker at Liverpool, where he made his debut. He possessed prodigious strength, and some of his feats were more calculated to terrify than to amuse his auditors; he was a great favourite of the public, and one of his benefits in Dublin produced him 600l. He was passionately fond of dress and jewellery and was found dead, in his landladies undergarments, suspended near his bedroom window.
